Why I Can’t Stop Playing Sudoku
I have a confession: I’m completely hooked on Sudoku. It started innocently enough, with a single puzzle in a weekend newspaper. I thought it would be a quick, casual pastime. Little did I know that a simple 9x9 grid would become my favorite way to challenge my brain—and occasionally test my patience.
The Simple Brilliance of Sudoku
Sudoku is deceptively simple. Each row, column, and 3x3 box must contain the numbers 1 through 9, with no repetitions. That’s it. No flashy graphics, no timers, no distractions—just logic and numbers. And yet, it’s endlessly captivating.
The appeal lies in the balance between simplicity and depth. Easy puzzles are relaxing, perfect for unwinding, while harder ones are thrilling brain workouts. I love how Sudoku quietly teaches focus, persistence, and problem-solving without ever feeling preachy.
